Hi there, sorry not to have caught your discussion earlier but I am looking at further exploring this type of marketing and have a few questions;
1. How do you charge for this service? (per amount of adverts?)
3. Is this type of marketing better used for smaller local businesses or bigger National companies?
3. Who do you trust to place/stick the advert onto the pizza box, the box manufacturer or the Pizza Shop? (obviously this is for the stick on box flyers option)
4. Which version works best;
a. Directly print on top of the pizza boxes
b. Stick on colour flyers to the pizza box
5. Do you think this is a long term marketing proposal or will this most likely be a “flavor of the month” type of idea?

Hi George, great questions.
I see the above working best at a local level but this is just an idea I am throwing out there.
I am looking at it from the viewpoint of a two local business with a similar target markets teaming up to cross advertise to each others customers.
But you could look at the same thing and see a potentially national business where you are almost an ad network becoming the link between these business. In this situation it could work on both a local and national level depending on who is doing the advertising.
As to your other questions, the one thing I have learned about marketing is that the only way to know is test.
Have a look at the practical requirements, do the maths and see how cheaply, quickly and simply can you test this.
You could probably test for almost free. Print the fliers and offer a Pizza place a % of any sale generated. No risk to them and a possible upside.
