No Cars Beyond This Point

I took this photo today. Yes, that is the roof of a car you see after the tide came in.
I wish I could say this is a rare occurrence.

I have that exactly same picture from the other end of the beach..since I have moved to this area 5 years ago I have managed to get 3 cars out of the sand at the mornington end of the beach…report 8 to the local cops and 2 nutters for speeding up the beach at about 80 miles an hour. I now just turn around and walk away. If they are stoopid enough to do it well then tough. Most of them are ungrateful when you explain take the floor mats out of the car put them under the wheels to get traction oh is that what you do doh…love it love it love it no wonder car insurance is so high in this area its nothing to do with the M1 its the amount of cars that go swiming when their owners are drinking cans of ale in the dunnes…..

My parents have a photo of a Garda car from the 1980s stuck and surrounded by water with Garda and Ban-Garda (Male and female police officer) sitting on the roof. Seems they got a bit…distracted with each other and didnt notice the tide coming in.
