dlr Poetry Now 2010 Tickets Now On Sale
The 2010 programme for dlr Poetry Now has been launched online at www.poetrynow.ie. This year we have introduced a new festival blog with regular updates about this year’s festival.
Heading into its fifteenth year, the dlr Poetry Now Festival will welcome poets from countries including Albania, the Czech Republic, Mexico and the United States – but, as this year's keynote speaker Paul Muldoon will remind us, with his address Go Fish: Six Irish Poets, there are always new depths to be discovered in the work of poets from Ireland too. As ever, then, dlr Poetry Now is proud to present the very best of Irish and international poetry. Other highlights at this year’s festival will include a reading from last year’s Irish Times Poetry Now Award winner Derek Mahon, a special tribute to The Gallery Press on its 40th anniversary, and a chance to hear from this year’s T.S. Eliot Award winner, Philip Gross.
There’s just as much as always to look forward to at dlr Poetry Now, so check out our website at www.poetrynow.ie or contact cbrown@dlrcoco.ie to request a programme.
dlr Poetry Now Festival 2010 takes place from the 25th to 28th of March. Bookings (01) 231 2929 or www.paviliontheatre.ie
